Art Department Brings Noah Scalin to Campus!

Noah Scalin is a well known national artist who recently launched his book SKULL A DAY. Scalin is an engaging speaker and will discuss his work and lead a hands-on workshop.
He will be working with our students on February 17th, (weds.) at 6:00 in the Black Box Theatre. The theatre is located in the Dickinson Building on the campus of PVCC.

Where The Wild Things Are.
The film screens on friday, January 22, 2010 in the beautiful Dickinson Theatre on the lovely campus of Piedmont Virginia Community College. The film begins at 7:30pm.

Day of The Dead Candy-Thon!!!!

Another day, another Day of the Dead Candy-thon. This year was as amazing as ever. Check out this work! The assignment was to work with a small group, research traditional Day of the Dead imagery, design a DOTD image and reproduce it in candy form. Here are the results.
